Balance & Panning Screenshots
I used these channel faders and moved them up and down to balance the instruments in the track out so I could hear all the instruments clearly and they all had an even amount of presence in the track. We were told that the highest the output could go was -6 decibels. This is to leave some headroom because if the output volume gets to or surpasses 0 decibels, the track then starts to clip. I used the faders to stop that from happening and also to lower the amplitude of the loudest instruments to balance them out.
Panning;
I used these panning knobs to pan move the audio of some of the instruments into one ear instead of both so I can hear the two individual guitars separately instead of both of them coming out of both headphones so you could hear both of them individually. I also did the same with the claps, the remix sounds and the shaker. This is so I can hear all the instruments and to add differentiation to the track making it more interesting and unique.
